Dr. Janet Paluh, Co-founder and CEO
Dr. Janet Paluh is a biomedical scientist, entrepreneur, and educator with a career dedicated to translational research and societal impact. Trained at Stanford and UC Berkeley, she leads research at SUNY Polytechnic Institute’s College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering. Her multidisciplinary expertise spans neurotechnologies, spinal cord injury repair, stem cell gastruloids, single-cell RNA-seq, bioinformatics, MEMS, biomaterials, and AI for neuroscience. As a founder of ITrakNeuro, she brings visionary leadership, regulatory expertise, and deep experience in academic-industry collaborations. She actively mentors students and serves on national boards, including the NIH NIA Task Force on Minority Aging.
Dr. Amitava Mukherjee, Co-founder
Dr. Amitava Mukherjee is a veteran technologist and scientist with over 40 years of multidisciplinary experience in academia and industry, including a tenure at IBM. He is currently a Professor at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, in Kerala, India. Dr. Mukherjee's work spans nanoscience, network science, hardware, and AI-integrated technologies. With more than 160 peer-reviewed publications and global academic partnerships, he brings deep scientific insight and translational leadership to ITrakNeuro. His expertise ensures that the company remains grounded in both robust scientific methodology and real-world applicability.
Dr. Ayan Chatterjee, Co-founder
Dr. Ayan Chatterjee is the founder of BioClarity AI, a Massachusetts-based company pioneering AI applications in gene therapy and editing, and a co-founder of ITrakNeuro Inc. He also serves as an AI consultant at Alexion | AstraZeneca Rare Disease, focusing on gene therapy innovation. Ayan earned his Ph.D. from the Network Science Institute at Northeastern University, advised by Prof. Tina Eliassi-Rad. His research expertise lies in graph machine learning, biological networks, and link prediction algorithms. With prior experience at NVIDIA in AI architecture and optimization, and advanced degrees from Jadavpur University and the Indian Institute of Science, Ayan brings a rare blend of academic rigor and real-world AI product development to the team.
Rounak Chatterjee, Co-founder
Rounak Chatterjee is a hardware systems expert specializing in low-power analog design and energy-efficient electronics. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Jadavpur University and a Master's in Electronics and Computer Engineering from the University of Birmingham. Currently an Analog Design Engineer at Tagore Technology, Rounak’s expertise is foundational to the development of ITrakNeuro’s deployable solutions, ensuring high-performance computation with minimal energy footprint across standard clinical hardware platforms.
